You throw a water balloon straight up with a velocity of 12 m/s. What is its maximum height?

Considering that the earth's gravitational pull of 9.8 m/s is applied, and there are no other outside forces, then the maximum height would be 2.2 meters.

This is found by subtracting the earth's gravitational pull from the velocity in which you threw the object.
