Will ran four miles on his first day of training. The next day he ran one-third that distance. How far did he ran the second day?

12 miles. You need to multiply the reciprocal of 1/3 which is 3. So you multiply 4 miles, what he ran on the first day and 3 which makes the answer 12 miles.
