Given the following functions:

[tex]\begin{gathered} f(x)=-3x+7 \\ g(x)=2x^2-8 \end{gathered}[/tex]

To find f(g(x)), we replace x in f(x) with g(x).

[tex]\begin{gathered} f(x)=-3x+7 \\ f(g(x))=-3(2x^2-8)+7 \\ =-6x^2+24+7 \\ =-6x^2+31 \\ \text{Therefore:} \\ f(g(x))=-6x^2+31 \end{gathered}[/tex]
