  • The improvement of railways and canals led to more people traveling, which also meant trading domestically hastened.
  • Communication also developed with the help of the electrical telegraph. This connected more people together and increased the business transactions.

Though there were many advantages of the Industrial Revolution, it had some negative consequences like segregating the people into different social classes. The pollution in the environment also increased.
