^ that answer is false, most likely happened during a gradual migration due to need of resources. One theory is that moved across West and South Asia and ended up in what is now southern China. From there, they then headed north in latter migrations, moving through northwest Asia and into Scandinavia, following herds of reindeer into their new homeland.
