What will happen if we put jelly on the leaves of a plant?

Answer:

If it's Vaseline then when we put it it will block the leaves stomata and the plant will find it difficult to respire as it won't get oxygen and also the plant will not lose water through transpiration so the upward movement of the water in the plant will stop.
