Find the 10th term of the geometric sequence given a1 =4 and a4 = 1/2

The answer is 1/128

Equation for n-th term of geometric sequence:

a(n)=a(1)*r^(n-1)
For 4th term,
a(4)=a(1)r^(4-1)
1/2=4*r^3
∛(1/8) = ∛(r^3)
r=1/2

For 10th term,
a(n)=a(1)*r^(n-1)
a(10)=4*(1/2)^(10-1)
a(10) =4/(2^9) =( 2^2)/(2^9)= 1/(2^7) = 1/128
